Movies That Matter
Movies that Matter first started screening in September 2007 and continues to attract interest in the diverse range of screenings. Movies have included cult (King Corn and Koyanisqaatsi), mainstream (the Girl in the Cafe, China Syndrome) and classics (An Inconvenient Truth and Eleventh Hour) on every subject from peak oil to disappearing bees.
Movies are shown upstairs at the Victoria Hotel on the 2nd Tuesday of the month. Commencement time 7.30pm. Come earlier and have a meal.
Movies are a great way to be entertained and informed at the same time. And an opportunity to meet new likeminded people. Discussions after the movies can be very interesting and animated.
See you at the Vic Hotel!
